When cycles of fear and injustice finally break, what follows isn’t silence—it’s a song. Judges 5 bursts with celebration as Deborah sings of freedom and new beginnings. In baptism we do the same: we declare that our old identity is gone, and our new one—rooted in God’s compassion, grace, and patience—has begun. This Sunday, celebrate the sound of freedom as stories are sung, waters are stirred, and lives are made new.
