Applications are now open for the Hattie Jones and Evelyn Simms Scholarship, awarded in memory of Pastor John's mother-in-law (Evelyn) and her life-long best friend (Hattie). Its purpose is to make education more accessible for minority students. The scholarship is awarded to 10 students each year and will be paid directly to their educational institution toward tuition for undergraduate programs. Students are eligible to apply for the award each year they are enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program. The application deadline is Sunday, June 30. Apply here.
