Volunteer with the Grace Team at AFAC
--

Every 4th Tuesday of the month, a team from Grace distributes and packs food for our neighbors in need at the AFAC Warehouse. AFAC (Arlington Food Assistance Center) is the largest food bank in Arlington County, serving over 3,500 families weekly. This is an amazing opportunity to feed our neighbors, meet other Grace attendees, and build a relationship with our local nonprofit partner! There are no language requirements to serve with the team, but if you speak other languages, the distribution line might be your place to shine, since a lot of AFAC clients are bilingual. Children 10 years old and up are welcome to join the packing team, accompanied by their parents/guardians.

Be a Mentor for At-Risk Youth
--

Every year, approximately 21,000 young men and women age out of foster care in our country. The “Don't Go Alone” Program is dedicated to connecting young adults aging out of foster care to individuals and/or families who will walk alongside them into adulthood. We all want to make a difference in someone else’s life. Connecting with a young adult who has no one is a profound and lifelong way to make that happen.
