Our partnership with Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) is directly related to their Multicultural Center in Falls Church, VA.
The Multicultural Center provides immigrants who have experienced trauma with the tools and resources necessary to succeed in their new home country. Outcomes focus on addressing the immediate, basic needs of clients while supporting them and their families, as necessary, with mental health and immigration legal services as they shift focus from mere survival to reestablishment and empowerment. Through its professional, multicultural, and bilingual staff, the Multicultural Center can provide high-quality, trauma-informed, culturally relevant services in English, Spanish, Amharic, Arabic, French, and Farsi. Their ultimate goal is to help clients increase their level of self-sufficiency, empowerment, and sense of belonging in our community.
