About the Leader:
Maryam came to know Jesus Christ at age 24 while living in Iran, where she was discipled in an underground church despite the dangers of following Jesus. In Iran, converting from Islam is considered a crime and the true Word of God is difficult to access. After years of serving Him quietly, the risk to her life became too great. She and her family fled to Turkey, living as refugees for three years before coming to the United States. Today, Maryam is a part of Grace Church and calls it home. Her heart is full of gratitude, and she is ready to once again serve the Lord by encouraging others and helping them grow in their faith.
About this Group:
This Farsi-speaking group is for believers in Christ to join in fellowship, share the mighty works of God in our lives, give testimony of faith and salvation, read His Word, and worship together. We will encourage one another and keep our faith alive as we grow toward the fullness of Christ.
