Alexis and Thomas are newlyweds enjoying life in the DMV! They very recently got married after a transcontinental dating season and are so excited to root their marriage in the Word of God. Like a Yin and Yang, Alexis is outgoing, relational and silly while Thomas is wise, calm and reliable. Together, they can't wait to get to know other couples at Grace and pursue Jesus together.
About this Group:
Are you a couple in your 20s or 30s looking to connect with others in a similar season of life? Join us for our Young Married Couples Group, hosted by a young married couple! We meet every Monday night from 6:30-7:30 PM.
This group is all about doing life together—building friendships, exploring faith, and growing together as couples. We’ll have meaningful discussions, pray for one another, and encourage each other in our marriages.
Feel free to bring your dinner, snacks, or whatever makes you comfortable during our group time! We're excited to get to know you and create a space where we can all grow in our marriages, with each other and with God.
This spring session will focus on how the power of communication—spoken, written, and even nonverbal—shapes our relationships, communities, and personal lives. The Bible (especially Ephesians) teaches that our words can build up or tear down, bring life or destruction, and ultimately determine the course of our lives. Science and research confirm the same truth: how we communicate impacts everything.
Meeting: In-person, Mondays at 6:30pm
