Kentucky Mission Trip

Appalachia Reach Out is an organization in the heart of Appalachia - Martin County, Kentucky – committed to reflect God’s love for His people by serving the materially poor communities around the Appalachia.

From Saturday, July 15 through Friday, July 21, our team is heading to Kentucky to work on a pre-selected project such as building a house, repainting and/or repairing buildings or anything else that may come our way during our time there. Specifics on what project we will work on will be shared with the team closer to departure date.

This is an amazing opportunity for our students to be exposed to a different place and culture, other members of Christ’s church and serve their neighbors with their talents while building stronger relationships with their leaders and friends.

Cost: $300 – includes ground transportation, lodging, food and service project cost.

Where: We are staying at Martin County, Kentucky. We are meeting for departure on Saturday morning, July 15 at 7am at the church office (5401 7th Rd. S. Arlington, VA 22204)
