Morning Women's Group

About Your Leader: Marisha has been attending Grace since fall of 2024. She grew up across a few different states and is hard pressed to call one home. She came to the area for school at Howard University and stayed after getting married. As any girl with ADHD, she has a modest rock collection, a graveyard of half-baked hobbies, facts she can recall from 24 years ago but a memory block when it comes to what she did after breakfast this morning. She loves to read, listen to music with her indoor plants, go to museums and sketch, attend family cookouts where her husband has somehow become cooler than her and learn one new thing everyday. She’s currently junk journaling and getting back to weight lifting.

About This Group:This group is for women looking to affirm their identity in Christ as children of God. There are a lot of things in the world that clamor with the messages of what to do and that’s what you’ll be. However, with our study of the messages given from Grace, we’ll explore how resting in who we’re meant to be will blossom into a harvest of everything we’ll able to then do. We’ll welcome journaling for prayer, gratitude, verse meditation and note taking (along with stickers) in a space we will collectively hold to be gentle, honest, kind and faithful.
