Location: Ballston Quarter
Start Date: September 15th
About this Group:
Beginning Tuesday, September 15th, women at Grace are invited to join us in-person as we journey through two series designed to help us follow Jesus beyond our Sunday gatherings and into everyday life based on GCC's sermon series:
Faith for Everyday Life (8 weeks): We’ll spend eight weeks in John 14–16 discovering what it means to live with Jesus in the everyday moments of life. Together, we’ll learn how a growing relationship with Him can bring greater peace, purpose, wisdom, and hope to where life actually happens.
Do Good (3 weeks): Following Faith for Everyday Life, we’ll begin a three-week series called Do Good, exploring what it looks like to put our faith into action and make a difference in the lives of those around us. The third week falls during Thanksgiving week and will be optional.
We’re excited for all that God will do through these two series as we grow together and live out our faith beyond Sundays.
Leader:
Julie Coy is a seminarian with graduate degrees in Religious Education, Theological Studies, Marriage and Family Counseling, and Pastoral Counseling. She is called to minister to women, couples, and families and is passionate about helping others deepen their faith through Scripture, reflection, prayer, and practical application for everyday Christian living.
Julie thoughtfully incorporates selected Christian resources into her ministry with women, couples, and families, using them alongside Scripture to help bring biblical truths into clearer focus and encourage meaningful application in daily life.
An avid reader and writer, Julie finds joy in the simple things—especially time at the beach, traveling, taking long walks with her husband, and quiet moments of renewal through prayer and journaling. She and her husband, Steve, make their home in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Meeting:
In-person, weekly on Tuesdays at 11:00 AM.
