Group Description:
The group on will discuss questions related to the previous Sunday’s sermon. The goal will be to grow closer to Jesus and do life together. While “child care” is not provided, 11-year-old Liam will be glad to hang out with young ones.
About The Leaders:
Soldier Bill is from Capital Heights, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1994 with a BA in Economics, served in the Army as a print journalist from 1998 to 2003, earned his Master’s in Public Administration in 2010, and retired from the Federal government as a correspondence editor at the end of 2025. Bill has been a Jesus person and involved with home groups since university. He has helped plant a church, been a deacon, and written/facilitated numerous Bible studies. With Fancy Nancy working outside the home, Bill currently enjoys being Mr. Mom, learning French, and leading The Wanderer Family USA – a family-friendly travel and things-to-do YouTube channel.
Fancy Nancy grew up in nearby Haymarket. She graduated from ODU in 1992 with a BS in Psychology and has been an HR professional ever since. Nancy grew up in church and was a member of Young Life growing up. She has led numerous children's ministries and was on staff as a Children's Director before arriving at Grace. She enjoys fixing HR issues at work, being the matriarch of The Wanderer Family USA, and swimming in crazy blue water.
