Online Women's Group

Monday at 7:00 PM

Location: Online

About this Leader: I started coming to Grace in fall of 2016 and was inspired by the way Grace gives back to the community and engages with their people.  I had been in a couple small groups and hosted a short series Grace did called Tables for 8 that connected me more with the church.  A friend that went to Grace wanted to be in a women’s Bible study group but wanted to know someone in the group, and needed it close by since she had two very young kids.  As a result in the fall of 2017 we started hosting a ladies small group in Fairlington Village area for the “This is Us series.” At the end of that series, our group decided we wanted to stick together.

About This Group: We have had people join and leave due to careers, family commitments, or a desire to meet other people in the church and small groups being a great place to do this. We are a group of 6-8 ladies who have diverse backgrounds and careers and span the age range from new/mid career to early retirement. We have new moms and new grandmoms and celebrate all of these accomplishments and challenges that come along with them. During COVID we started meeting via zoom and have continued to meet via zoom due to the convenience for many whom find getting to Arlington from work or driving at night challenging.  We do have group outings with walks, brunches and dinners so we can get to know each other better.  We usually follow the series but sometimes do focused studies if our group is wanting to did in more on a topic (past examples: Breathe (Priscilla Shirer), the well watered woman (Gretchen saffles), and 12 women of the Bible (lysa TerKeurst).  If you feel like this is the right group for you, we are excited to meet you and learn more about you.
